Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Restro Spots (RestroSpots.us) helps people choose where to eat by putting each restaurant's details in one organized page. This policy explains how we build those pages and what you can expect from them.
What goes on a restaurant page
- The menu, grouped by the same categories the restaurant uses, with item names and prices
- Address, phone number, opening hours and a map with directions
- Basic facts such as cuisine type and price range
We keep pages focused on facts that help you decide. We do not pad pages with filler text or copy long descriptions from other websites.
How we research
- We start from sources closest to the restaurant: its own menu, website or social media, and its listings on major ordering and business platforms.
- Address, phone and hours are cross-checked against at least one other public source, such as a local business directory or local news coverage.
- When a price is missing or unclear in the source, we show a dash (—) instead of guessing.
- Menu item names are kept as the restaurant writes them, including original-language names.
Independence
- We do not own, run or represent any restaurant on the site.
- Restaurants cannot pay to be listed, ranked higher or have their page changed in their favor.
- If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, it will be clearly labeled, in line with the FTC endorsement guidelines.
Advertising
The site may show ads to cover its running costs. Ads are placed by third-party networks and have no influence on which restaurants we cover or what we say about them. See our Privacy Policy for how ad cookies work.
Keeping pages up to date
Restaurants change menus and prices often. We review pages when we learn about a change. Even so, some details may be out of date, so please confirm important information with the restaurant. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.
Corrections
If you spot a mistake, email inyourcorner01@gmail.com with the page link and the correct information, ideally with a source like a photo of the current menu. Verified corrections are usually made within a few business days. Restaurant owners can also ask us to update or remove their page through our contact page.
Photos
Where we do not have a real photo of the restaurant, we may use an illustrative food image. We aim to replace these with real photos over time. If you own a photo used on the site and want it credited or removed, see our DMCA page.
